SINDI HARRISON
WARD 2 COUNCILWOMAN

In January 2019 I was appointed to represent Ward 2 on Stow City Council and 9 I had the honor of being elected for two additional terms, serving 5 years on City Council.  Previously I was involved with the Parks Board & Planning Commission and felt this experience would help me step into a larger role with the City.

I was selected serve as the President of Stow City Council for 2020 and 2021, Vice President of Stow City Council for 2022 and 2023. I am running again in 2025 to serve the residents of Ward 2 and ensure our City has a long term plan for success.  I have a proven track record as a leader on City Council, serving as both President and Vice-President, along with introducing multiple pieces of legislation to better our City.

Council Meeting 11/9/2023

Council met for a longer meeting Thursday night, highlights being discussion around Miller’s Landing, expanding cemetery space in Stow, allocation of final ARPA funds, and our 5-year capital plan and 2024 budget.  I was very disappointed to see that the 3 newly elected council members for next year were not in attendance at the meeting last, with such important items such as Miller’s Landing and the budget for next year being discussed I believe it would have been valuable to attend.  My full notes of the meeting on my blog by clicking below.
