Council Meeting 10/10/2019
Last night at council we had a smaller agenda but had several items discussed in committee that will likely be coming before council. Items discussed last night:
- Mayor appointments to the SKiP Playground Committee and applications for the appointments for council (stayed in committee)
- Hunting on city owned property that is outside city limit (stayed in committee)
- Board of control spending limits (stayed in committee)
- Energy special improvement district (stayed in committee)
- Car storage lot on Route 59 (second reading)
- Hiring of one replacement police officer (approved)
Council Meeting 9/26/2019
We had a very full meeting last night at Council, the highlights include:
- Discussion around administration spending limits
- Discussion around updating our parking code regarding parking on private streets near fire hydrants
- The Mayor’s veto of Council’s updated SKiP Park legislation
- The hiring of several employees due to retirements
- Update on stormwater projects and spending in 2018 to 2019
- The proposal for a car storage lot on 59
City Council Meeting 9/12/2019
Highlights of tonight’s council meeting include:
· Proclamation honoring two young heroes, Max Root & Levi Sabetta
· Update of the legislation regarding the SKiP Park Committee
· First reading on the Fox Den Rezoning
· Approval to send to Planning Commission for review of several additional parcels for rezoning to Conservation

City Council Meeting 8/8/2019
At the council meeting this week we addressed the following items:
- Plans to merge the current administration playground committee with the council created SKiP committee
- Council’s approval of a charter amendment that will appear on the fall ballot regarding pay increases for elected officials

Council Meeting 7/25/2019
At the council meeting last night we had about 30 residents in attendance, here is a summary of the topics discussed:
- Discussion of re-zoning Fox Den Golf Course
- Update on the downtown area/park re-building
- Hiring of a new Recreation Supervisor
- Two charter amendment issues for the ballot in November
