Council had a special Finance Committee meeting on Wednesday of this week for the introduction of our budget. There was a lot of good discussion about the budget and I think as we work through the budget and projects for the City in 2021 there will be a few changes along the way but it was good to get this process started as it has to be complete by March 31st of each year.
We had 3 committee meetings and a Council Meeting on Thursday. We discussed the re-building of SKiP Park, updates to our Civil Service Commission Rules, and approved the purchase of new radios for the Fire Department that will be paid for primarily out of grant funding. Click to read my full notes.
