We had a very long Council Meeting long Council Meeting last night.  One of the largest discussions and topics was regarding legislation on racism and racial equality in our City.  We also approved the hiring of a building plans examiner and IT project manager, approved several pieces of legislation from the planning department, and heard information on a regional dispatch center. At our city council meeting on Thursday we had 4 committee meetings and our regular council meeting.  Most of the discussion was regarding the hiring of several employees and the current process for re-hiring retired employees.

We had 4 Committee meetings and our Council Meeting on Thursday evening.  Two of our committee meetings had presentations about the upcoming stormwater and waterline improvements planned for 2020.  Other highlights include discussions about several positions looking to be filled in the city, the planning for a 2020 roads program, and plans to reopen many city facilities and buildings.  Click below to read my full notes.

We had a very full Council Meeting on Thursday night.  We had a Public Hearing regarding rezoning a property on Graham Road and 5 Committee Meetings. • Use of Silver Springs Campground for Stow resident first responders
• Banner program for our High School Seniors in the city
• Initial meeting of the Budget Oversight Committee
• Approval of a new housing development on Route 91
