Council Meeting 12/30/2019

Happy New Year’s Eve!

We officially had our last council meeting on December 30th.  There was some confusion on whether this was a “special” meeting based on typo in the Stow Sentry.  This meeting (same as the one the last working day of March each year) is always on the Council approved meeting schedule, it just often is cancelled because business is wrapped up for the year.  The last 2 years this meeting was held (last year was the meeting in which Council appointed me as the Ward 2 Councilwoman).

We discussed the following items:

  • The recent posting for an Deputy Planning Director vs. the approved Economic Development Coordinator
  • 2 proposed charter amendments to appear on the primary ballot
  • 1 legislative change regarding hunting on city property outside of city limits
