Council Meeting 5/9/2019
The council meeting last night involved the approval of multiple pieces of equipment and vehicles to replace current equipment and vehicles. There were also the approval of hiring and posting for several positions. A theme that was echoed by many council members and city staff was of the recent accident on Route 8 involving a Stow Police Sergeant this past week.
Council Meeting 4/25/2019
Tonight at Council we addressed several issues, funding for the roads program for this year and next year, the discussion regarding purchase of a property by the city, a proclamation for the Council Clerk regarding her retirement, and several appointments for public employees.
Council Meeting 3/28/2019
Tonight at the Council meeting we approved the 2019 budget and approved several planning items that came before Council. I attended a meeting earlier in the week to discuss the upcoming 2019 road repair program which is still currently under review. The proposal at the moment is the highest budget put to road improvements over the last several years and even exceeds the budget from last year. The repairs for 2019 should be defined and approved in April. Here is my summary from the meeting.

At tonight’s council meeting we discussed several issues:
We heard from Stow Municipal Courts on their proposed 2019 budget, both from the Judges side and the Clerk of Courts side. They do not foresee any issues with meeting their debt obligations in 2019.
