Council had a shorter meeting this evening. Several items remained tabled (updated payroll ordinance) or in committee (proposed rec center/park improvement levy), items passed include new sign approval, the hiring of a new HR Director, and update of our Council schedule for August.  Full notes on my blog by clicking below.

Council met Thursday evening for a public hearing regarding changes to our zoning code for car washes, committee meetings and our regular Council meeting.  In addition to the final vote on the car wash code updates, highlights include discussion related to a proposed levy for a recreation center and parks improvements and approval to hire for several positions.  Full notes by clicking below.

Council had a shorter meeting Thursday night.   Discussions included changes to the zoning code related to car washes in the City, continued discussion regarding non-union payroll changes, and updates related to the water main issues and boil alert.  Click below for my full notes.

Council had a shorter meeting Wednesday.  Highlights include approval for two police promotions, discussion of changes related to the payroll ordinance for non-union employees, expenditures related to the storms last month, and recognition of a Ward 2 family for their quick response after noticing a fire.  Full notes by clicking below.

Council met last Wednesday night for our regular committees and council meeting.  We had a presentation related to our City Flag, an extension of the moratorium on car washes, approved a tax sharing agreement to welcome a new business into the City, and had a discussion about crash data and road improvements.  Full notes on my blog by clicking below.
